Mardale Developments Ltd Gallery

We had a two Storey extension project completed by Mardale developments limited. This gave us a new bedroom and wet room to the first floor and a huge new open-plan area with fitted kitchen and large Island to the ground floor.  The workmanship has been completed to a high standard within timescale, and within the competitively quoted budget.  During our extension works, the Mardale team had some great ideas on finishing touches to really make the most of the extension and give it the wow factor. Now that the extension is completed, it has totally transformed the house and the family love it!  

I would highly recommend the Mardale team, led by the owner Neil. We found the whole team of builders to be very friendly (and humorous at times!), reliable and tidy. Mardale were not phased by any changes, challenges or new ideas that came up as the job progressed. The team worked to find solutions and often came up with better ideas than we could have ever thought of.

 I'm so glad we chose Neil and his team for our home extension project. From start to finish, the entire crew were professional, friendly, and incredibly easy to work with. They kept the work area remarkably clean and tidy throughout the process, which made living through a renovation (with a 1 year old!) much easier than we anticipated.
The team's craftsmanship is truly outstanding. The new extension has been seamlessly blended with our existing building, both inside and out. It looks like it has always been a part of the house, which was our main goal. We are thrilled with the finished result and love the new living space we have. We can't recommend Neil and his team highly enough. They are genuinely great and take immense pride in their work

Mardale have just completed our building project, extending the kitchen and sitting room and converting the garage to include a utility room and showroom. I was apprehensive about having building work done but I can honestly say that we are absolutely delighted with the job and the process, indeed everything that Neil and the Mardale team have done. We wish we had done it years ago!

There are so many different trades that have to work together, everything from plasterers, electrical, plumbers, foundation worker and joiners. They are all craftsmen and its clear that Mardale has developed this network based upon their skills, pleasantness and reliability as there’s a great atmosphere and camaraderie between everyone. Its clear that these trades have worked together with Mardale many times with everyone respecting each other and knowing their responsibilities. The amount of knowledge and skills share between these people is staggering.

I was extremely impressed with the logistics and organisation of all of this. Mardale are reliable, flexible and provided a quality job which greatly exceeded our expectations. They were on time and stuck to their quotation. Clearly they’ve done this before! An example of this is that I wanted a certain window design regarding the number of sliding windows. Neil convinced me to do a different design due to their experience. I could have had either design but they were 100% correct due to their knowledge and expertise. They matched the colour of the new front window of the house to the others and even added the exact same leading. 

We had a number of builders quote for the job and one of them said “You’ll be delighted to see us start the project but be delighted to see us go”. I understood his sentiment and thought it was very amusing however I was actually sad to see Mardale finish- they’re all great guys who I really enjoyed meeting.

A close friend has just started a project with Mardale based upon my recommendation and I have no hesitation in recommending them as a builder. Thank you to Neil and the entire team.
